Black Crowes update

Earlier this year, The Black Crowes announced that they would be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their debut, “Shake Your Money Maker,” by doing one more tour before taking an “indefinite hiatus.”

The “Say Goodnight To The Bad Guys” tour kicks off August 13 in Milwaukee; the 3-hour shows will feature a 90-minute acoustic set, followed by a 90-minute electric one, with music spanning the band’s entire career.

Just ahead of the tour, the Crowes will release “Croweology” – a double album of all-acoustic material – on August 3. “Croweology” will feature acoustic renditions of 20 songs from the Crowes’ catalogue, including fan favorites “She Talks To Angels,” “Remedy” and “Wiser Time.”

The double album will be sold for the cost of a single album, and it will also be available on vinyl and as an itunes LP.

“Jealous Again” and “Morning Song” will be the first tracks released from the new record.

The Black Crowes will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall Of Fame on September 11.
