Inspired by yesterday’s post with AC/DC rocking The Midnight Special, I thought I would indulge in a little Ted Nugent from the same series.

Uncle Ted actually hosted the show twice: once in 1978 and again in 1980.

In ’78, Ted Nugent’s “Rock N Roll Extravaganza” featured AC/DC, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Golden Earring, REO Speedwagon and Thin Lizzy.

Ted and crew wailed through four songs: "Cat Scratch Fever," "Free for All," "Need You Bad," and "Stranglehold"
