AC/DC rules 2010 worldwide ticket sales

Pollstar magazine, which tracks the concert business, has released a third-quarter recap of top touring artists and concert industry developments in the first nine months of 2010.

AC/DC’s “Black Ice” tour, which wrapped in June, sold almost 2 million tickets in the first half of the year – and it’s still ahead of every other touring act...by a long shot. According to the AC/DC’s website, the 2-year tour saw 168 performances in 29 countries to 5 million fans.
