AC/DC sells discount stores and credit cards

Coincidence is a funny thing.

I posted an item earlier today about Judas Priest’s involvement in a couple of advertising campaigns for Honda and Virgin Mobile USA ( see “Judas Priest sells minivans and phones” here).

Flipped by the Monday Night Football game tonight and stumbled across a Target commercial with an AC/DC soundtrack.

The ad, entitled "M.O.M.," features a kitchen theme as Mom makes pancakes…to the tune of AC/DC’s "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)."

This is not the first time AC/DC has licensed their music for advertising, even this year: among others, “Back In Black” was used in a high-end Visa ad this past spring.
