Ted Nugent on Fox’s “Money Rocks”

Surrounded by an arsenal of his favorite weapons, Ted Nugent talked guns, politics and investments last night on the Fox Business show, “Money Rocks.”

Guns and gold were the topic, as the panel discussed the rise in gold’s value since President Obama took office. Never one to shy away from his beliefs, the outspoken Nuge was at his defiant best, taking shots at the government and anyone who disagrees with him.

Last month, Ted wrapped us his 2010 “Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead” tour, and plans to spend the fall hunting bear and moose in Canada and deer in Wisconsin before hitting the studio in December with his band -- bassist Greg Smith and drummer Mick Brown -- at producer David Zaijcek's studio in the same Texas village where Nugent now resides. "I love the convenience," he told Billboard. "I love being able to hunt in the morning, then go rock my balls off the rest of the day. It's called balance. My spirit has never been more positive or energized."

Ted is prepared for the studio, saying he has some "stone cold motherf***king songs" ready to go, including well over a dozen tracks already written and another 8 or 9 he wants to get down tape right away. The new recording will be Ted’s first since 2007’s “Love Grenade,” and he has already confirmed that the title will be the same as his 2010 tour: “Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead."
