I mentioned, yesterday, that the Aerosmith guys weren’t letting American Idol get in the way of playing music these days, as Joe Perry joined Juliette Lewis onstage for a couple of songs at a Miami Dolphins tailgate party on Thursday.
(See "Aerosmith guitarist joins Miami Dolphins pre-game tailgate party" here).
Guitarist Brad Whitford’s been busy the past month, out on the road as part of the Experience Hendrix tour, which wraps up tonight in Indianapolis.
Backstageaxxess.com’s David Griesinger caught up with Whitford for a pre-show chat on the tour, and the two talked about a variety of things beyond the Hendrix thing, including a potential rekindling of the Whitford-St. Holmes project (with Derek St. Holmes, on-and-off vocalist for Ted Nugent for many years). Brad also joked about the possibility of looking for work if Aerosmith went on a hiatus.
