Steven Tyler launches own website

Steven Tyler is everywhere these days and, with American Idol’s kick-off in full swing Wednesday night, the Aerosmith frontman has now launched his own official website.

Steventyler.com is up and running, and while it’s not fully operational, the intention for it to develop looks promising for fans.

Tyler’s first blog post tells the story:

Hey!! Guess who? Welcome everyone to the all new StevenTyler.com, the premier destination for all things moi… (demon of screamin’)

We do things a little differently around here –Instead of, say…looking directly into the lens of camera at a Giselle bundchen photo shoot, we will be looking up the dress of fashion and rock n roll together…and life will become as revealing as a cellophane thong of which there will be no intellectual airbrushing.

Here’s to lookin up your old address, baby!

Welcome to my premiere. It is Wednesday at 4 oclock as I blog this to you. As you know I was in New York Monday with Letterman, the next day up at 4am for Howard Stern at 7am, then Regis and Kelly, plus 2 hours of electronic press, and for dessert I had Jimmy Fallon…Burp…this way…

I just got off the plane and I am sure you have all heard that the band is meeting here in LA to start rehearsals for the new album. Meanwhile, tonight along with the launch of my website, I am celebrating the premiere episode of American Idol with Randy, Jennifer and Ryan by my side at a destination unknown. Gotta go get ready and put on my face!

My rock universe has a new center of gravity. Expect to see the kind of stuff that people will tell me take down. F that!

Love, ST!
