Steven Tyler won’t be censored by American Idol

Steven Tyler refuses to be censored by American Idol.

In reference to a promotional clip for American Idol in which he cames close to saying an inappropriate word, Tyler was asked at the Television Critics Association if he will have to go on a five-second delay for the Fox show.

"F---, no," he said.

The New York Daily News says that Tyler was a little less vocal about his Aerosmith bandmates' response -- that he was kind of a sellout -- to his decision to join "Idol."

"Yeah, I got some stuff from them," he said. "But it's not gonna fly. If something is worth doing, it's worth overdoing."
