Rush documentary wins Golden Reel Award

While The Grammy Awards recently passed over the Rush documentary “Beyond The Lighted Stage,” the film has picked up an honor at the MPSE (Motion Picture Sound Editing) Golden Reel Awards.

The Awards celebrate the work of sound and editing in motion pictures and television.

“Beyond The Lighted Stage” won “Best Sound Editing: Sound Effects, Foley, Dialogue, ADR and Music in a Feature Documentary.”

The MPSE honors were handed out Sunday in Los Angeles.

The awards season is not over just yet: the documentary is up for “Music DVD Of The Year” at Canada’s Juno Awards on March 27.
