VIDEO: Metallica - pro-shot footage of Big 4 jam in Germany

High quality pro-shot footage from the first European show by the Big 4 has surfaced.

The July 2 concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany featured the first Big 4 jam of the summer as members of Megadeth and Anthrax joined headliners Metallica for a cover of Diamond Head’s “Helpless.” Slayer were unable to join the jam due to the timing of their travel arrangements for the next show in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Metallica has also offered up footage from their meet and greet with fans as well as some cool rehearsal video from the tuning room.

Ever wonder how a band like Metallica comes blazing out of the gate every night to start their show at full speed? Check out the pre-show jam on “Hit The Lights,” the first song in the bands’ set – and you’ll get a glimpse at how prepared and warmed-up they are when they hit the stage.
