VIDEO: Duff McKagan on Lou Dobbs Tonight

Duff McKagan is making the rounds to promote his new autobiography, “It’s So Easy (And Other Lies),” and he’s showing up everywhere he can to get the word out.

Probably one of the last places fans would expect to see Duff is on Fox business show, “Lou Dobbs Tonight.”

However, the fact is McKagan, a former high school drop-out, attended Seattle University's Albers School of Business and Economics in the early 2000s, and subsequently founded the wealth management firm Meridian Rock…to help other artists manage their finances.

As for the impetus to form his own company, Duff explains: “So I got into business school, and as soon as I did, I started getting calls from my peers…‘Duff, will you help me with my money?’ Because you can make a bunch of money, it doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to manage it…or even know what a stock or a bond or a mortgage or a complex loan is. So, that’s what Meridian Rock’s all about.”

Duff sat down with Dobbs to talk about the career, the book, and his business background.
