VIDEO: The Mini Band rock Metallica, Guns N’ Roses

Who says rock is dead?

Whatever you do, don’t tell The Mini Band, because they’ve got some rocking ahead of them.

The Thatcham, UK group – made up of 8 and 10-year-olds, played a (pardon the unintentional pun) short set at the Bucklebury Beer Festival over the weekend, rocking covers by Metallica and Guns N’ Roses.

The Mini Band is Zoe Thomson, Harry Jackson and Kieran Fell on guitar, Harrison Read on lead vocals, Archie Zolotuhin on bass guitar and Charlie Emmons on drums. The guitarists and vocalist are 8 years old, the bassist and drummer are 10 years old.

Lead guitarist Thomson nails the solos and makes it look way too easy. If you think the Festival set was good, check out the pure rock attitude of the rehearsal footage. Nice!

The Mini Band have a Facebook page here.
