Alice In Chains to debut new song soon

Alice In Chains have completed recording their new album and will debut a new song online in two weeks.

The band revealed the news on Thursday, writing, “Every day for the next 10 days, a new lyrical phrase from our brand new song ‘Hollow’ will be posted at @aliceinchains on Instagram. We want you to create an image inspired by or featuring a single word or phrase from those lyrics. Next, share those photos on Instagram or Twitter tagging #HOLLOWAIC. On 12/18, visit here to see your photos and other fan photos from around the world, then hear and become, ‘Hollow.’

Due in 2013, the new project is the follow-up to 2009’s “Black Gives Way To Blue,” the band’s second record with singer William DuVall.

The album was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters, Deftones) and engineer Paul Figueroa.
