VIDEO: Paul McCartney and Nirvana rock SNL

Paul McCartney and the members of Nirvana teamed up to perform on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

As musical guest on the show, the former Beatle was joined by Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear to play their new song, “Cut Me Some Slack.”

The tune is set to be the first track from Grohl's "Sound City" documentary.

The same lineup played the new track on Wednesday at the 12-12-12 Sandy Relief concert in New York – watch that performance here.
