Gregg Allman announces fall US tour

Gregg Allman has announced a solo US tour for this fall.

The Allman Brothers Band founder will hit the road for a series of live shows starting October 11 in Montgomery, Alabama; the trek runs into early January.

Gregg recently revealed that he is planning a new solo album and may begin recording it before the end of the year.

The project would follow-up 2011’s “Low Country Blues”, his first solo release in 14 years. Produced by T-Bone Burnett, it was nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album, and reached #5 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top Blues Albums charts.
