Scorpions: Love At First Sting 30th anniversary featured on In The Studio

The 30th anniversary of the Scorpions’ 1984 album, “Love At First Sting”, is featured on the latest episode of North American rock radio series In The Studio.

Lead singer Klaus Meine and guitarist Rudolph Schenker join host Redbeard to take a look back a the band’s most successful US album release.

Fueled by the singles “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, “Still Loving You”, “Big City Nights” and “Holiday”, “Love At First Sting” peaked at No. 6 on the US Billboard 200 and went on to sell more than 3 million copies in the States.

The German rockers recently released “MTV Unplugged - Scorpions Live In Athens”, a new package compiled from three concerts in Athens, Greece at the city’s Lycabettus Theatre last fall.
