Foo Fighters announce London club show

The Foo Fighters will play the House Of Vans in London on Thursday as the second of three club shows in the UK this week ahead of their appearance on Sunday at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games.

The band – who will appear as The Holy Shits – revealed the news via Twitter on Wednesday.

The London show follows Tuesday’s club date in Brighton.

The Foo Fighters will headline Sunday’s closing concert of the Invictus Games at Olympic Park in London; they’ll be joined by Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Adams, The Vamps, James Blunt and others.

The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women. Over 400 competitors from 14 nations will take part in this year’s games, which use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding and respect of those who serve their country.

The Foo Fighters will release their new album, “Sonic Highways”, on November 10.
