VIDEO: Guns N’ Roses launch reunion with Los Angeles club show

Guns N’ Roses launched their 2016 reunion tour with a rare intimate show at The Troubadour in Los Angeles on Friday night.

The confirmed trio of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan were rounded out with a lineup that included longtime GNR members Richard Fortus on guitar, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and drummer Frank Ferrer alongside new addition, keyboardist Melissa Reese.

Fans snapped up $10 tickets for the all ages show at noon on Friday, and were treated to a 17-song set featuring material from the band’s classic era, a pair of tracks from 2008’s “Chinese Democracy”, and covers of tunes by Paul McCartney & Wings, Bob Dylan, The Damned and The Who.

The April 1 club show was offered in sync with the official announcement of dates for the band’s summer stadium tour of North America.

The Not In This Lifetime Tour will open at Ford Field in Detroit, MI on June 23, with shows set to wrap up in San Diego, CA on August 22.

Nightrain official GN'R fan club members will be notified via email with an early presale opportunity.
