The Doors to release The Singles collection

The Doors have announced a fall release of three new collections featuring every US single issued by the band.

Due September 15, “The Doors: The Singles” will available as a limited-edition vinyl box set, 2CD, 2CD/Blu-ray audio, and in digital formats.

Limited to 10,000 copies worldwide, the box set features 20 replica 7-inch vinyl 45s backed with the original B–sides.

A 2 CD set includes all 20 U.S. singles with their corresponding B-sides plus four mono radio versions, while a 2 CD/Blu-ray edition adds the 1973 compilation, “The Best Of The Doors”, in high-resolution Quadraphonic mix on Blu-ray Audio for the first time.

A track list for the 2CD edition can be found below.

“The Singles” delivers music from all six of the group’s studio albums – from their 1967 self-titled debut to 1971’s “L.A. Woman” – including classics like “People Are Strange,” “Love Her Madly” and “Riders On The Storm.”

Also included on the CD versions are four mono radio versions of some of the band’s biggest hits, such as “Hello, I Love You” and “Touch Me,” which have never been made available anywhere after being sent to radio around their original release.

The B-sides – many of which are making their CD debut – include tracks like “Who Scared You,” which appeared in March 1969 as the flipside to “Wishful Sinful,” and a cover of Willie Dixon’s “(You Need Meat) Don’t Go No Further,” which was paired with the 1971 smash “Love Her Madly.”

“The Singles” also features several songs released after Jim Morrison’s passing in 1971. Among those recordings are tracks the surviving trio recorded together (“Tightrope Ride” and “The Mosquito”), as well as live selections from posthumous releases (“Roadhouse Blues” and “Gloria.”)

Ahead of the fall releases, The Doors will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its first No. 1 hit, “Light My Fire”, on July 28 with a limited edition, 7” vinyl reissue that features artwork from the Japanese version of the single. Limited to 7,500 copies, the single will be available for a suggested price of $7.98.

Earlier this year, guitarist Robbie Krieger and drummer John Densmore marked the 50th anniversary of The Doors’ debut’s release at a special event in Los Angeles, CA.

Joining the pair were family members of the late Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison as the city honored the group by proclaiming January 4 as the “Day Of The Doors” during a public event at the intersection of Pacific and Windward Avenues, the location of the iconic “Venice” sign.

Megadeth plan studio return

Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine says the band are planning to hit the studio later this year to begin working on new music.

Currently playing dates on a North American tour, Mustaine spoke with KATT Rock 100.5 FM in Oklahoma City, OK ahead of the group’s July 8 show at The Zoo Amphitheater.

“We have stuff planned for next year and then, believe it or not, we have something that we were approached on for 2019,” explains the rocker. “That’s the farthest ever in my life I’ve been asked to do a show in advance, so we’re excited about that – and in-between that time period, we plan on going back in the studio.

“We’re probably going to go back in and start throwing some ideas around at the end of the year – we’re thinking about November and December.”

The project would mark the recording debut of drummer Dirk Verbeuren, formerly of Swedish metal band Soilwork, who joined the lineup last fall after the departure of Chris Adler.

“Dystopia” debuted at No.3 on the US Billboard 200 upon its release, delivering Megadeth’s highest-charting US album since 1992’s “Countdown To Extinction”, which debuted and peaked at No. 2.

Earlier this year, the group won their first-ever Grammy Award in the Best Metal Performance category for the title track to “Dystopia.”

Megadeth’s summer trek wraps up with a July 15 appearance at Wisconsin’s Rock Fest, after which they’ll head to Europe for a month of dates; the group will then join the Scorpions for fall North American shows starting in mid-September.

KISS: Ace Frehley collaborates with Gene Simmons on new solo album

Ace Frehley has collaborated with Gene Simmons on new material for the former KISS guitarist’s next solo album.

"Two days ago I was with Ace, who's not in the band — he used to be in the band three different times — and we wrote two songs,” Simmons recently told Minnesota’s 92 KQRS. “He asked me to write for his next solo record. So I went over to his place, way out in the desert some place, and we wrote two things."

Frehley had previously invited the KISS bassist to participate in his 2016 all-star covers album, “Origins Vol. 1”, but the pair failed to connect at the time.

The project did feature a reunion with former KISS bandmate Paul Stanley, as well as guest appearances by Slash, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, John 5 and Lita Ford.

“Origins Vol. 1” debuted at No. 23 on the US Billboard 200 upon its release in April of last year.

Frehley was the founding lead guitarist of KISS. The rocker has had the most successful solo career among the original foursome: his 1978 self-titled album went on to sell over one million copies and produced the only US Top 40 single, “New York Groove”, which continues to thrive amongst fans in the digital era.

His 2014 release, “Space Invader”, delivered the guitarist his first US Top 10 album and his highest-charting studio effort to date.

Frehley and the original lineup of KISS were inducted into the 2014 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony in New York, alongside Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt, and The E Street Band.

Guitarist Tommy Thayer currently performs with KISS using makeup originally designed and made famous by Frehley.

Black Sabbath farewell concert film to debut in cinemas worldwide

“The End Of The End”, a film documenting Black Sabbath’s final farewell concert in their hometown of Birmingham, UK, will debut in cinemas worldwide for one night only on September 28.

The February 4, 2017 show at the city’s Genting Arena marked the 81st and final date of the groundbreaking metal band’s farewell tour, wrapping up a year-long global trek to wind down a legendary career that spanned five decades.

“To bring it all back home after all these years was pretty special,” says the group. “It was so hard to say goodbye to the fans, who’ve been incredibly loyal to us through the years. We never dreamed in the early days that we’d be here 49 years later doing our last show on our home turf.”

Directed by Dick Carruthers (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Oasis), “The End Of The End” combines the last concert by Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler – original drummer Bill Ward sat out two reunion tours due to contractual issues – with studio footage of unique and exclusive performances of some of their favourite songs not played on the tour.

The September 28 screening will present a specially-edited version of the concert film ahead of its official release later this year.

Tickets are now on sale worldwide, with more cinemas to follow soon; for full details, visit blacksabbathfilmtickets.com

On September 29 – the day after the screening – Black Sabbath will release a limited edition vinyl box set called “The Ten Year War.”

The individually-numbered packages will deliver 180-gram splatter-colored remastered editions of eight albums from the band’s classic 1970s catalog – from their self-titled 1970 debut to 1978’s “Never Say Die!” – alongside a series of rarities and goodies for fans.

AUDIO: Ramones preview Leave Home expanded 40th anniversary reissue

The Ramones are streaming a 2017 remix of “Pinhead” as a preview to the forthcoming expanded 40th anniversary reissue of their 1977 album, “Leave Home.”

The follow-up to the New York punk band’s groundbreaking 1976 self-titled debut, “Leave Home” was produced by Tony Bongiovi and features a number of Ramones classics, including “Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment,” “Glad To See You Go” and “Commando.”

Due July 14, the 2017 reissue is packaged as a 3-CD/1-LP Deluxe Edition that delivers the record’s original mix alongside a new 40th anniversary one by the album's original engineer/mixer, Ed Stasium.

“Generally, the consensus was [the original] maybe sounded too clean,” writes Stasium in the liner notes. “The guitars panned completely left-right detracted from the band’s foreboding presence, and the reverb effects especially were a little excessive.”

The new 40th anniversary mix is also featured on the LP included in the Deluxe Edition.

A second disc features more than two dozen rare and unreleased recordings, including rough mixes for 15 tracks recorded for "Leave Home" at Sundragon studio in New York and a combination of 18 alternate mixes and instrumental versions of all tracks from the album.

The third disc presents an unreleased recording of The Ramones in concert at CBGB’s on April 2, 1977, just a few months after “Leave Home” was released.

The 40th Anniversary reissue is a limited and numbered edition of 15,000 copies worldwide and comes packaged in a 12 x 12 hardcover book. A full track list can be found below.

A single disc of the new remix, along with digital download and streaming options, will also be available.

Part of The Ramones' ongoing reissue series, “Leave Home” follows 2016’s 40th anniversary release of their 1976 debut with an expanded reissue that included a remastered stereo version of the album, a new mono mix and a pair of live sets at The Roxy in Los Angeles, CA.

Sammy Hagar believes Van Halen reunion tour is inevitable

Sammy Hagar says he believes a reunion tour with Van Halen is “inevitable.”

“I think it could happen in a second,” Hagar tells Rolling Stone. “I think there's so much money involved that somebody will make it happen. Think of the promoters, managers, T-shirt guys, you name it."

“I haven't talked to anyone, and I'm not reaching out,” he says, while adding his dream concept would be to share center stage with David Lee Roth alongside the group’s classic lineup, including the return of bassist and longtime friend Michael Anthony, who was unceremoniously replaced by Eddie’s son, Wolfgang, in 2007.

“I'd say, "Dave, you go out and play two songs, then walk off the stage. I walk out, I'll do two songs. I'll walk off, you do two songs." Can you imagine the competition of that?,” explains the singer. “Dave goes out and does ‘Jump,’ and ‘Ain't Talkin 'Bout Love.’ I go out there and blow out something like ‘Good Enough.’ You gotta hit it hard, and you better be good.”

In 2002, Hagar and Roth teamed up for a US tour that saw the singers exchange headlining slots each night while performing with their own bands.

Despite not having any real contact with his former group since a 2004 reunion tour ended poorly, the 69-year-old Hagar says a full Van Halen combo reunion run is the cards – but needs to happen soon.

“Yeah. I really think it's kind of inevitable,” he says. “And if it doesn't happen, it's getting kind of late now. If it doesn't happen by next year ... Here I am making predictions again. But at 75, I don't want to do a Van Halen reunion.”

The Red Rocker’s love/hate relationship with Van Halen has continued throughout the years, dating back to his first split with the band in 1996.

Hagar’s on-again/off-again interest in rejoining the group has sent mixed messages to both the band and fans ever since, and appeared to be settled somewhat last year when the singer delivered what is believed to be his first ever public apology to Van Halen after two decades of bashing them in media interviews.

Following the late 2015/early 2016 deaths of rockers Scott Weiland, Lemmy, David Bowie and Glenn Frey, Hagar told Oprah Winfrey that he found himself in a new place of peace and forgiveness.

"The whole Van Halen issue, I really put that behind me, and I'm proud of what we did. So I've decided, forgive and forget,” he explained. “I ain't looking for nothing from nobody. I don't wanna… I ain't asking to be, you know… get back in the band and do all that again; that's work! I don't wanna do that. No, no, no. I just wanna be friends."

2018 will mark the 40th anniversary of Van Halen’s groundbreaking self-titled debut album.

“I would love to give the fans the greatest Van Halen show they could possibly have today,” Hagar now tells Rolling Stone. “And then say, ‘OK, I still don't like you guys.’"

Van Halen have been on an extended break following the end of a 2015 North American tour in support of “Tokyo Dome Live In Concert.”

Bassist Wolfgang Van Halen has been working on his debut solo album over the past year, although no timetable for the project’s release has been revealed to date.

Royal Blood debut second album atop UK charts

Royal Blood’s second album, “How Did We Get So Dark?”, has debuted atop the UK charts.

The Official Charts Company reports the follow-up to the band's smash 2014 self-titled debut enters the UK album chart at No. 1, finishing almost 22,000 in combined sales ahead of nearest rival Ed Sheeran.

The duo of bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher received the news just prior to taking to the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury festival on June 23.

"Wow. Just wow,” they told OfficialCharts.com. “Can we just say, thank you so much.”

The pair also tweeted a short video featuring an Official Charts Company plaque to mark the achievement, adding, “This went straight to number one and to our heads. Thank you so much.”

Royal Blood later stopped their hour-long performance at the UK event to share the news with fans and to toast the crowd with champagne.

“How Did We Get So Dark?” was recorded in Brussels, Belgium with producer Joylon Thomas and London, UK with co-producer Tom Dalgety.

The set was previewed with the lead single, “Lights Out”, and follow-ups “Hook, Line & Sinker” and “I Only Lie When I Love You.”

Royal Blood are currently playing a month-long run of European festival dates before touring Australia in July and returning to North America for a second two-week run in August that will include sets at Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL and the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco, CA.

Nikki Sixx unofficially retires from touring

Sixx:AM and former Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx says he has unofficially retired from touring.

“For those of you asking, I’ve been playing in bands and touring the world for 40 years,” shares Sixx on his social media sites. “I have no immediate tour plans unless I get a wild hair up my ass or something or somebody really inspirational comes along.

“Since I’ve been home, I’ve just been writing music non-stop, recording with other artists, taking vocal, bass and guitar lessons and focusing on photography.... Money has never been and isn't a driving force for me. Let the chips fall where they fall.”

“So I guess I'm unofficially retired or maybe just expired at this time,” he adds. “Nice to give 100% of my time to my wife and kids.”

The rocker then recapped a series of projects he has in the works that will keep him busy over the next year.

“Got a couple Sixx:Am albums coming out soon and 1 book this year,” he explains. “Sixx Sense radio is the biggest syndicated radio show in the world and that going on 8 years. I got 2 books in the works and I am in talks to develop a TV show (not reality) as well as The Dirt for Netflix and The Heroin Diaries Play... YUP, I AM RETIRED… HAHA.”

Sixx’s update comes just three months after he underwent successful hip placement surgery, with plans for more treatment in the future.

“Next two surgeries are for the shoulder,” he wrote during a spring Twitter Q&A.

After wrapping up his career with Motley Crue in 2015 at the completion of the band’s farewell tour, the rocker has been busy on the road with Sixx:AM following the 2016 release of “Prayers For The Damned” and its companion album, “Prayers For The Blessed.”

The group wrapped up its live schedule for both records earlier this spring.

Sixx and Motley Crue will release an expanded 30th anniversary reissue of their 1987 album, “Girls, Girls, Girls”, on August 25.

The band’s fourth record peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 on its way to US sales of more than 4 million copies, led by the US Top 15 hit title track.

VIDEO: Watch Foo Fighters headline set at Glastonbury festival

photo: Glastonbury Festival / Facebook

The Foo Fighters headlined UK’s Glastonbury Festival on June 24 and video from the band’s full 2-hour-plus set is available online.

Dave Grohl acknowledged the group’s return to the event after they were forced to cancel a 2015 appearance and the remaining shows on a European tour when the singer suffered a leg fracture when he fell off the stage in Gothenburg, Sweden on June 12 of that year.

Florence And The Machine stepped in to fill the Foos slot at the 2015 edition of legendary UK festival.

“I’m about two years late, I’m sorry,” said Grohl as the band arrived on stage. “Traffic was a bitch. Let me tell you something: for all of you who were here in 2015, I’m sorry I missed ya. But I watched that show on my laptop, as I was sitting in a wheelchair with a broken leg, and it looked beautiful. And my friend Florence, got to headline that year and I’m very happy that that happened because, you know what, I thought she should have been headlining, anyway.

“And, as I was sitting in my wheelchair, watching the show on tv, she played a Foo Fighters song, man…wayyy better than we’ve ever played it. So I thought I’d come out here and start the show tonight singing that song back to Florence.”

Grohl and the group then opened their 20-song set with the 2002 classic, “Times Like These”, before delivering a masterful mix of tunes from their career, including the new single, “Run”, from the forthcoming album, “Concrete And Gold.”

Due September 15, the group’s ninth release was co-produced by the group and Greg Kurstin (Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Sia) and mixed by Darrell Thorp (Beck, Radiohead).

The group will launch the project with a fall US tour that will begin with their own Cal Jam 17 festival at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, CA on October 7.

The group’s salute to the original 1970s California Jam festivals will see them joined by more than a dozen acts, including Queens of the Stone Age, Cage The Elephant, Liam Gallagher, The Kills, Royal Blood, Japandroids, Wolf Alice, Bob Mould, and more.

VIDEO: Watch Liam Gallagher perform full set at Glastonbury festival

photo: Glastonbury Festival / Facebook

Liam Gallagher delivered an hour-long performance at the UK’s Glastonbury Festival on June 24 and video of the singer’s full set is available online.

Gallagher rocked a dozen songs during his early evening appearance at the event, mixing classics from his former band, Oasis, alongside material from his forthcoming solo debut, “As You Were.”

Opening with a pair of Oasis classics – “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” and “Morning Glory” – the singer shifted gears with his new single, “Wall Of Glass”, and another pair of solo tracks before revving up the crowd again with more tunes from his former band.

Gallagher closed out the Glastonbury show with his first-ever live performance of “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, which he presented a cappella as the festival crowd sang along.

Currently playing dates across Europe, the rocker will release his debut solo album, “As You Were”, on October 6.

The 15-song project was produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck) and Dan Grech-Marguerat (Radiohead, Mumford And Sons).

The launch of the former Oasis singer’s solo career follows a five-year, two-record stint with Beady Eye, who disbanded in 2014.

UPDATE: Video of Liam's full set has been removed from YouTube so we are sharing clips of songs, as available.

VIDEO: Queen and Adam Lambert launch North American tour in Phoenix

Queen and Adam Lambert launched their first North American tour in three years in Phoenix, AZ on June 23 and video from opening night is available online.

The band’s 25-song set at the city’s Gila River Arena opened with their 1977 classic, “We Will Rock You”, and delivered hits from throughout the group’s legendary catalogue as well as solo tracks from guitarist Brian May and singer Lambert.

The Queen / Lambert trek is a 7-week, 26-date arena run also includes two nights at The Hollywood Bowl this month as Queen debut a brand new state-of-the-art stage production that pays homage to the 40th anniversary of their biggest-selling studio album to date, “News Of The World.”

VIDEO: Fleetwood Mac’s Buckingham and McVie open 2017 tour in Atlanta

Fleetwood Mac members Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie opened a summer North American tour in support of their self-titled debut album in Atlanta, GA on June 21 and video from opening night has surfaced online.

The duo’s 19-song set at the city’s Chastain Park Amphitheater mixed new material alongside a pair of Buckingham tunes and Fleetwood Mac classics like “Little Lies,” “You Make Loving Fun” and “Go Your Own Way.”

Including the lead single, “In My World”, Buckingham McVie delivered eight songs from their record, which originated from a series of studio sessions in 2014 after McVie reunited with Fleetwood Mac for dates on their On With The Show tour.

"We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically," explains Buckingham. "The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, 'What took us so long?!'"

The Buckingham McVie summer tour, with guests The Wallflowers, currently has dates scheduled into mid-August.

Next month, the pair will also regroup with Fleetwood Mac to co-headline The Classic East and West festivals in New York and Los Angeles alongside The Eagles.

PRO VIDEO: Metallica perform Master Of Puppets classic in Chicago

photo: Jeff Yeager / Metallica

Metallica performed their 1986 classic, “Battery”, at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL on June 18, and the band are sharing professional footage from the event.

The song was the opening track from the group’s third album, “Master Of Puppets”, which proved to be a turning point in Metallica’s career, as their major label debut became thrash metal's first platinum album while expanding and solidifying the band’s sonic palette. The project has now sold more than 6 million copies in the US alone.

The Chicago stop on the band’s current North American leg of their World Wired tour in support of “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct” was the final night before Metallica would enjoy a two-week break from the trek, which sees them on the road with guests Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat.

"When we go out and tour, we try and bring bands out that have either done well on their own or we get along with, or we just like their music,” frontman James Hetfield tells ABC7 Chicago. “There's gotta be some connection. It's not, 'Oh, they're hot right now. Bring 'em out.' But you have a history with them, you get along really well. That's one of the main things about touring — just getting along with people. Maybe it happened in the old days, where there's fighting between bands and all this crap. But that's kind of… It's old hat.

“But as far as bands going out with us now, we've got Volbeat, who I think is really great, on some of the legs. Avenged Sevenfold is out. There's a band called Gojira, who we've had out quite a few times. And, yeah, they're good and they're heavy."

Metallica will return to action at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL on July 5.

VIDEO: Angus Young joins Guns N’ Roses for AC/DC classics in Germany

Angus Young joined Guns N’ Roses to perform a pair of AC/DC classics at the Messegelände in Hannover, Germany on June 22, and video from the event has surfaced online.

The pairing delivered “Whole Lotta Rosie” from 1977’s “Let There Be Rock” and “Riff Raff” from 1978’s “Powerage” before a wildly enthusiastic crowd as part of the European leg of the band’s Not In This Lifetime tour.

The start of Hannover show was reportedly delayed 15 minutes and then, again for 90 minutes when the band left the stage as a thunderstorm swept through the area just four songs into the evening.

Young teamed up with GNR for the same pair of tracks at multiple shows during their Australian tour earlier this year after first joining at Coachella last year as they announced that Rose would join AC/DC for a spring run across Europe and fall US dates after singer Brian Johnson was sidelined with hearing loss issues.

When Guns N’ Roses’ European run wraps up next month, the group will then return to North America for more shows starting in St. Louis, MO on July 27.

Alter Bridge release Cradle To The Grave video

Alter Bridge have released a video for “Cradle To The Grave”, the latest track issued from their current album, “The Last Hero.”

The fourth single from the 2016 project follows the lead tune, “Show Me A Leader”, “My Champion” and “Poison In Your Veins.”

Alter Bridge’s fifth album, “The Last Hero” debuted at No. 8 on the US Billboard 200 upon its release last fall.

The feat marks the first time the band have been in the US Top 10 since their first album, “One Day Remains”, debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the charts in 2004.

Alter Bridge are currently playing dates across Europe and have scheduled a handful of US shows scheduled in August, as well, before playing a series of dates in South America in September.

The group will release a new collection, “Live At The O2 Arena + Rarities”, on September 8 via Napalm Records.

The 3-CD package captures the band in concert at the London venue on November 24, 2016, alongside a disc of 13 rarities from their career.

Liam Gallagher announces debut solo album and North American tour

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher will release his debut solo album, “As You Were”, on October 6.

The project has been previewed with the lead single, “Wall Of Glass”, and an ongoing series of live dates across Europe that included a surprise performance at the recent One Love Manchester benefit concert in the singer’s UK hometown.

The project includes four tracks produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck) and eleven tunes overseen by Dan Grech-Marguerat (Radiohead, Mumford And Sons).

The launch of the former Oasis singer’s solo career follows a five-year, two-record stint with Beady Eye, who disbanded in 2014.

“I didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey,” says Gallagher of the forthcoming set. “It’s the Lennon Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now.”

“As You Were” will be available in standard and deluxe editions on digital, CD, vinyl and limited edition coloured vinyl, with a special boxset also offered via Gallagher’s website.

The rocker will support the project’s launch with a newly-announced series of North American dates this fall.

The three-week, nine-show run will open in San Francisco, CA on November 13, with stops in several major markets including Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Toronto, among others.

Ticket pre-sales are on now with general public seats available June 29 at 10 am local time.

VIDEO: Foo Fighters debut new song Sunday Rain in Latvia

The Foo Fighters debuted the new song, “Sunday Rain”, during a June 21 performance at the Lucavsala festival in Riga, Latvia, and video from the event has surfaced online.

With drummer Taylor Hawkins handling lead vocals, it’s the latest preview of material that will appear on the band’s forthcoming album, “Concrete And Gold”, following the live debut of three new tracks at Iceland's Secret Solstice Festival last week - including the lead single, “Run”, “Lah Di Dah” and “The Sky Is A Neighbourhood.”

Due September 15, the group’s ninth release was co-produced by the group and Greg Kurstin (Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Sia) and mixed by Darrell Thorp (Beck, Radiohead).

“I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever,” says Dave Grohl. “To make a gigantic rock record but with Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper… or something like that.”

The Foo Fighters are currently playing a series of summer festival dates across Europe.

The group will launch “Concrete And Gold” with a fall US tour that will begin with their own Cal Jam 17 festival at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, CA on October 7.

The group’s salute to the original 1970s California Jam festivals will see them joined by more than a dozen acts, including Queens Of The Stone Age, Cage The Elephant, Liam Gallagher, The Kills, Royal Blood, Japandroids, Wolf Alice, Bob Mould, The Struts, Bully, Circa Waves, Babes in Toyland, Adia Victoria, Fireball Ministry, The Obsessed, Pinky Pinky, Starcrawler and White Reaper.

The Foos will follow the Cal Jam 17 event with a sold-out October 12 performance at the grand opening of the new Washington, DC venue, Anthem, before bringing their live show to arenas across the US, with dates scheduled into December.

A Capital One cardholders presale starts Monday, June 26 at 9am local time, with general public tickets on sale Thursday, June 29 at 10am local time.
