Megadeth announce greatest hits album Warheads On Foreheads

Megadeth will release a new greatest hits collection, “Warheads On Foreheads”, on March 22.

The band have posted the cover art for the project, which will feature 35 remastered tracks hand-selected by leader Dave Mustaine.

Megadeth recently previewed the announcement of the set with a video presenting a brief clip from the group’s “Take No Prisoners”, a track from their 1990 album, “Rust In Peace.”

Full details, including a track list, for “Warheads On Foreheads” will be issued soon.

Ahead of the hits collection, Megadeth will continue their ongoing reissue series next month with a pair of albums from the early 2000s: 2001's "The World Needs A Hero", and its follow-up, 2004's "The System Has Failed."

Due February 15, the reissues mark the North American vinyl debut of both records and their first appearance on CD after being out of print for the past five years.

Currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2016’s “Dystopia”, Megadeth will return to live action when they join Ozzy Osbourne for summer shows across North America as part of the Black Sabbath rocker’s ongoing farewell tour.

The pairing will begin the two-month run of amphitheaters and arenas in Atlanta, GA on May 29.
