Metallica stream video of Here Comes Revenge debut live performance

Metallica are streaming official pro-shot video of the live debut the “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct” track, “Here Comes Revenge”, from a recent concert in Lubbock, TX.

The March 2 event at the United Supermarkets Arena marked the band’s first show in the city in 15 years; their 18-song set delivered tracks from seven of the group’s ten studio albums.

Metallica will wrap up the current North American arena leg of the WorldWired tour in Grand Rapids, MI on March 13, following which the band will launch a summer trek across Europe in Lisbon, Portugal on May 1.

Now in its fourth year, Metallica have extended the global tour with recent news of newly-announced shows later this year in Australia and New Zealand.

Joined by guests Slipknot, the six-show run will open in Perth on October 17 and hit Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane before closing in Auckland, NZ on October 31.

"It's been over six years since we last visited Australia and nine years since we were lucky enough to set foot in New Zealand... we're long overdue!,” says Metallica. “This trip represents another new adventure for us during the 'WorldWired' tour; it will be the first time we have ever headlined stadiums in Australia and New Zealand.”

Metallica fan club presales begin Tuesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. local time for Legacy Members and 2 p.m. local time for Fifth Members; general public tickets will go on sale Monday, March 18 – for full details, visit metallica.com.
