Noel Gallagher streams new track Rattling Rose

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are streaming the track “Rattling Rose”, as the latest preview to the forthcoming EP “Black Star Dancing.”

“It manages to combine the influences of Chris Rea, Chris De Burgh, Mike and the Mechanics and Slipknot FFS!!!,” says Gallagher. “I may have eaten too many gummy bears recently.

“Anyway it’s ‘jolly good’ … not my words but the words of David Cameron who literally did the hokey cokey at Soho Farmhouse when he heard it.”

Due June 14 via digital and 12” vinyl, the project presents the band’s first new music since the 2017 release of their third album, “Who Built The Moon?”

The EP will deliver five songs, including three versions of “Black Star Dancing” that will also present a 12” mix and “The Reflex Revision.”

The High Flying Birds recently had a change in their lineup.

“It is with great sadness that NGHFB has to announce that Charlotte Marionneau will be leaving its 2019 world tour for personal reasons,” announced Gallagher of the backup singer and scissor player. “We look forward to welcoming her back as soon as possible... ticket refunds will be available from the point of purchase”

The band are currently playing shows across Europe.
