Jimi Hendrix Remembered – part 1

It’s pretty hard to know here to start to cover the legend that is Jimi Hendrix, on this, the 40th Anniversary of his death.

So much is known about the axemaster who, overnight, changed the way the guitar was played and approached by musicians everywhere. More than THE guitar hero, Jimi was the full package: singer, songwriter, producer, player and visionary – in addition to having some of the most magical charisma the world has ever seen on stage.

In many ways, it’s hard to fathom how much Hendrix accomplished in his short life, leaving one to question how much further he could have taken music, and performance, had he lived longer.
