Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Anniversary Concerts coming to DVD

Last fall, the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame celebrated its 25th year with a couple of Anniversary concerts at Madison Square Garden.

The shows featured music royalty like Bruce Springsteen, U2, Metallica, Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger, Ozzy Osbourne, John Fogerty, Jeff Beck and many others.

The concerts are now coming to DVD on September 28.

Originally televised as a 4-hour special by HBO, “The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts” DVD package is a 3-disc set, featuring the original HBO broadcast plus many extras…including many bonus performances and a collector’s edition of Rolling Stone magazine (RS boss Jann Wenner also heads the Hall Of Fame).

Some of the bonus performances include Springsteen and Fogerty doing Roy Orbison’s “Oh, Pretty Woman,” Jagger and The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie joining U2 on the Stones’ classic, “Gimme Shelter,” and Ozzy teaming up with Metallica for Black Sabbath classics “Paranoid” and “Iron Man.”
