Soundgarden’s new retrospective, “Telephantasm,” is set for release on September 28; the new disc includes the previously unreleased “Black Rain,” which was recorded during the 1991 “Badmotorfinger” sessions.

The new disc will also be packaged with the initial 1 million shipments of the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock video game - the first time a music album will be simultaneously released and bundled with a video game launch.

Telephantasm is being released in a few configurations: a single disc version; a 2 CD/limited edition DVD package; a deluxe 3-LP vinyl edition, and an individually numbered super-deluxe collector’s edition.
