Craig Ferguson rocks Halloween

TV’s Craig Ferguson started his Halloween celebrations early, with yet another musical intro to his show.

Craig and crew - including his Robot Skeleton sidekick, Geoff Peterson – kicked off Friday’s show with the 1962 Bobby “Boris” Pickett hit, “The Monster Mash.”

Picket’s vocal was a spoof on horror movie star Boris Karloff.

The single, "Monster Mash," reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on October 20 of that year, just in time for Halloween; it has been a perennial holiday favorite ever since.
