Metallica fan needs your help

UPDATE: (Nov 9) Fan has been contacted about safe return of item - for more, see here

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Metallica fan who attended last Thursday’s launch party for the release of "Call of Duty: Black Ops,” needs your help.

During the show at the Santa Monica Airport, Metallica fan Jeff Loya lost a very personal item, and is looking for someone to come forward and assist in its recovery.

Loya lost a cross pendant previously owned by his late father.

“I was next to the mosh pit,” says Jeff, “which included many military guys and Metallica club members. My friend saw a white guy with brown hair and a goatee pick it up. At the time, my friend didn't know it was mine.”

“I've posted on Metallica Club message boards,” continues Loya, “youtube videos and messaged anyone who said "I was there" or "I won tickets", etc.”

As you can imagine, this is an irreplaceable, personal item, and Jeff is anxious to have it returned ASAP.

If you have any information that can help Jeff Loya retrieve this pendant, please contact him by email:
