The previous night, McCartney was on hand at Q magazine’s annual “Q Awards” to accept the “Classic Album” award for “Band On The Run,” saying, "The Beatles were a pretty hard act to follow, and we followed them," before giving some advice to upcoming generations of musicians: "To all the younger bands, which is pretty much everyone, keep rockin'. I love ya." then adding, "To Wings and The Beatles, thank you for getting me here. And, this one's for Linda!".

The reissue of BOTR includes several different versions: Standard Edition, a 3-disc (CD + 2DVD) Special Edition (includes 9 bonus tracks), a 4-disc (CD + 3DVD) Deluxe Edition (adds a book and documentary) and a Vinyl Edition. For more details, check Paul’s site here.

McCartney has also been featuring some documentary episodes on his site, providing some interesting background on the making of the album.
