Poison to tour with Motley Crue in 2011?

Bret Michaels may have let the cat out of the bag about his band, Poison, and their plans for 2011, during his gig at Caesars Windsor’s Colosseum on Saturday night.

Poison will tour with Motley Crue, according to a concert review/report by the Windsor Star.

The rave review about Saturday’s show by Dylan Kristy said that, “before closing the show, Michaels said he would try to return to Windsor for a reunion tour with Poison and Motley Crue.”

No word, yet, on whether or not Michaels’ comments are wishful-thinking or fact-based.

In June, Bret told Billboard, “I think it would be killer to do something with Motley Crue," he said. "Me and Vince Neil are really great friends, and we're talking about doing something really cool with the two of us solo, or maybe it could be Motley Crue and Poison, their 30th anniversary and our 25th, and go out together. It could be the 55th anniversary of Motley Crue and Poison! I think that would be awesome."

In an interview with Altsounds last month, Crue drummer Tommy Lee was asked about the rumours for the 2011 tour, and whether or not he’d be up for it, if it happened. “Not that I know of, I haven’t heard that!,” replied Lee.

Stay tuned while we await something more official to be announced…
