Kasabian’s Tom Meighan is a nervous actor

Acting vs. playing Glastonbury: which one would make you more nervous?

If you’re Tom Meighan of Kasabian, it’s acting…by a long shot.

The Sun reports the rocker recently filmed his scenes for the new British wrestling sitcom "Walk Like a Panther," playing bodyguard Terry Graham.

Speaking to Q magazine, Meighan sized up the situation. “I loved it, but I was s****ing myself, first of all. When I was driving on set, I was thinking, 'F*** f*** f***'. It was more nerve-racking than playing Glastonbury.”

Fans needn’t worry about a career change for the Kasabian singer.

"Kasabian and the music comes first,” said Meighan. “Having said that, if someone said they were remaking Labyrinth, I'd be quite up for playing the part of the Goblin King."

Kasabian are due to heading into the studio soon to start recording the follow-up to 2009’s “West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.” The band are also planning to play a series of mid-sized venues on a UK tour this Spring, as they road-test some of the new material.
