Super Bowl: Slash’s appearance with Black Eyed Peas remains unconfirmed

The Black Eyed Peas held their press conference in Dallas Wednesday, ahead of their appearance on the Halftime Show at Sunday’s Super Bowl.

While rumours continue that the band will be joined by Slash and Usher (those with two names need not apply), the Peas would not comment when asked the question about special guests.

On Tuesday, The Associated Press reported a source close to the plans for the big game as saying Slash and Usher will make unannounced appearances with the Peas; both artists have connections to the band through studio recordings.

It was interesting to hear that Fergie is actually a part owner of the Miami Dolphins.

"My father was a high school and college quarterback, a former football coach,” said Fergie. “I now am a limited owner of the Dolphins. I'm very proud of my team for years and years. This is a very special thing for all of us. We're talking about a semi-official holiday for Americans. It really is. Sunday football is a serious day in our homes and Super Bowl Sunday is the day I can go all out, cheat, eat a seven-layer dip and all the fattening foods, scream at everybody and just have a great time. It's a perfect match for us."
