David Bowie: live album from 50th birthday concert due in April

It’s 2011, and David Bowie is turning 50 all over again.

The last time Bowie hit 50, it was 1997, and the rocker put on a special concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden for the occasion.

Now, that evening is coming to life again, as Bowie gets set to release “Birthday Celebration - Live in NYC 1997” on April 26.

The concert featured many guests joining Bowie, including the Foo Fighters, Lou Reed, Billy Corgan and The Cure's Robert Smith, among others.
