Beck was scheduled to play songs with each of the top 9 Idol finalists, but his publicist said Jeff cancelled because there wasn’t enough rehearsal time.
No such issue for The Tonight Show, as Jeff and the Imelda May Band have been out on a short US tour in support of his new DVD, "Jeff Beck: Rock ‘N’ Roll Party Honoring Les Paul."
The band played a cool version of The Shangri-Las' 1964 classic, "(Remember) Walking In The Sand," which appears on the “Rock ‘N’ Roll Party” DVD.
