Jeff Beck announces Canadian tour

Jeff Beck returns to Canada for a cross-country tour this fall.

The guitar hero will play 11 shows in October, beginning in Halifax and working westward to Vancouver.

Tickets for all concerts (except Montreal) go on sale Friday June 24 at Ticketmaster; tickets for the Montreal show go on sale Monday, June 27.

Beck’s latest studio album, “Emotion & Commotion,” was nominated for five Grammy awards last year, making him the most nominated rock artist of 2010. Beck went on to win Best Rock Instrumental Performance for “Hammerhead” and Best Pop Instrumental performance for “Nessun Dorma.” He also won for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for “Imagine,” his collaboration with Herbie Hancock, Pink, India.Arie, Seal, Konono No. 1 & Oumou Sangare.

His latest project, "Jeff Beck: Rock ‘N’ Roll Party Honoring Les Paul" was released in February and followed by a tour of the Les Paul tribute show across the States.

The 66-year-old former Yardbirds guitarist has reportedly been working on a blues album will old partner Rod Stewart.
