NHL Stanley Cup: Paul Rodgers to play Vancouver Canucks game on Friday

There’ll be some rockin’ before there’s more rock ‘em sock ‘em.

The legendary Paul Rodgers will be performing his Free classic, “All Right Now,” prior to the start of the Vancouver Canucks' NHL Stanley Cup Playoff home game versus the Boston Bruins this Friday at Rogers Arena.

Canucks fans will hope Paul’s appearance and song can lift their team back into the series following back-to-back losses in Boston this week, as the Bruins evened the best-of 7 at 2 apiece with a couple of strong home games, including Wednesday’s 4-0 win.

Last month, Rodgers was honored for his outstanding contribution to British music at the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards, held in London.
