VIDEO: Beady Eye rock Reading Festival

Beady Eye headlined the NME stage on the opening night of the Reading festival this weekend.

The Friday night appearance will be followed by a show at the Leeds festival on Saturday.

Following the set, Beady Eye sat down with the BBC to discuss how the show went, as well as the band’s plans for album number two.

“It’ll definitely be out next year,” said Liam Gallagher, “cause that’s what we do, we make music – whether people like it or not. We’ll go in [the studio] probably about February and like to put it out for summer, cause that’s what we’re about: uplifting music – you don’t want to be putting [that] out in the winter.”
