VIDEO: Lenny Kravitz rocks NBC Today Show

Continuing his media blitz to support the launch of his new album, “Black And White America,” Lenny Kravitz stopped by the NBC Today Show on Friday.

Lenny & co. played a few live tracks, including the new single, “Stand,” as well as his hits “Fly Away” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” as well as the Guess Who classic, “American Woman.”

Kravitz talked to the NBC team about the new disc, one he describes as his most diverse.

“I gave myself enough room to have a large landscape to paint on,” said Lenny. “I look at this as a double-album: it’s got 16 tracks so, in the old school days when we had vinyl, that would have been two pieces of vinyl. I gave myself enough room to just explore all the syles that I love and that I grew up on, listening to.”
