VIDEO: Paul Simon’s 9/11 tribute at Ground Zero

Paul Simon was one of the featured performers at the 10-year 9/11 memorial service in New York on Sunday.

Time magazine reports Paul performed Simon & Garfunkel's hauntingly beautiful 1964 classic, "The Sound of Silence."

This isn't the first time Simon, a native New Yorker, has used his music to comfort in the wake of the attacks: he was Saturday Night Live's musical guest on September 29, 2011 - the first episode back on the air after the Twin Towers fell. For that show, Simon performed S&G’s "The Boxer," alongside NYPD, firefighters and NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
