Jane’s Addiction: New album streaming via iTunes

Jane’s Addiction return next week with “The Great Escape Artist,” their first studio album in eight years.

The project was produced by Rich Costey (Muse, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand), with help from TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, who contributes songwriting, programming and bass on the album.

Ahead of the October 18 street date, fans can preview the full album now on iTunes, as the band has teamed up with the brand to stream their new disc in its entirety.

The project was mastered specifically for iTunes in order to optimize sound quality when downloaded.

"We are psyched that people will have a chance to hear our whole album before they buy it,” says guitarist Dave Navarro, “and we applaud iTunes for standing up for great audio, too."
