VIDEO: Rush drummer explains challenges of creating setlist

A new preview clip from the forthcoming Neil Peart instructional DVD, "Taking Center Stage: A Lifetime Of Live Performance,” has surfaced….although this time, it’s not from the producers; it’s a screen shot of the DVD provided by a fan.

The Peart package is due next week, October 14 to be precise. The DVD features more than 6 hours of Rush video, including a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s 2010-11 Time Machine tour.

In a fan-shot clip from the DVD, Peart addresses the issue of creating the band’s setlist and, specifically, why the track “Jacob’s Ladder” (from 1980's "Permanent Waves") was included on a leaked, early copy of the setlist but, ultimately, failed to make the final cut, come tour time.
