VIDEO: Watch full Black Sabbath 1970 concert

Two Black Sabbath-related books hit stores this week.

First up is Ozzy Osbourne’s “Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy," a health advice collection of the best of his columns from Rolling Stone (U.S.) and the Sunday Times (U.K.), with some additional material thrown in.

On October 13 (Europe), guitarist Tony Iommi publishes "Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven And Hell With Black Sabbath," which chronicles the legendary tales of the legendary metal pioneers. The book will be released in the US on November 1.

Both Ozzy and Iommi and are doing book-signing tours for their new works: Osbourne’s starts today (Tuesday), while Tony’s starts next week in the U.K.

Interest in both should be high, and maybe even moreso than usual, given the recent news that the original Sabbath lineup has reconnected and are working towards a possible reunion next year.

After months of rumors, innuendo and speculation, Ozzy recently confirmed that the band has regrouped…and a reunion may happen.

"Yes, it's a very, very strong possibility," Ozzy told Billboard. "It's in the very early stages, so we haven't recorded anything yet. If it works out, it'll work out. If it doesn't, I'll keep doing my thing."

So…to celebrate the new books…and possible reunion, hennemusic has pulled a classic 1970 concert by Sabbath for fans to check out.

The show was recorded in December, two months after the UK release of the band’s second album, “Paranoid.” On October 30, the band played their first US gig, at Glassboro State College in Glassboro, Pennsylvania; that trip included a 5-night stand opening for Alice Cooper at the Whisky A Go-Go in LA (2 shows/night), and a 4-nighter opening for The James Gang, along with Sugarloaf, at the Fillmore West..again, 2 shows per night.

Sabbath returned to the UK in December for dates and then started across Europe...including a December 20 gig at the Olympia Theater in Paris.

I’ve seen references to this show actually being filmed on October 3 at Theatre 140 in Brussels, Belgium; hardcore Sabbath fans will likely know the story and can maybe shed some light on this.

Either way…the footage is killer – enjoy!
