The Hindustan Times says the four have listed their plea on the grounds that it was not an orchestrated fiasco, as alleged and prima facie, there was no case of cheating as DNA has a reputation of organizing international shows successfully.
Rajesh Kumar (General Manager, DNA Entertainment Networks) and his colleagues Umesh Chinara, Ashok Singh and Savio Faleiro were taken under custody on October 28 against the cheating charges and breach of trust and were sent to police custody for around six days; last week, they were placed in judicial custody for 14 days by a local court.
