RUMOR: Motley Crue Las Vegas residency set for February

Rumor has it Motley Crue could be setting up shop in Las Vegas.

Vince Neil pal Robin Leach of the Las Vegas Sun reports the Crue appears set to become the first heavy metal group to sign a short-term residency in Vegas.

Leach says he’s hearing that the band will play a nearly month-long series of three- and four-night concerts a week at the Hard Rock Hotel, starting at the end of February.

Leach reports that fans should expect the official announcement on the Vegas deal just before Thanksgiving, as the Crue get set for a UK tour with Def Leppard and Steel Panther in December.
