VIDEO: Joan Jett & Foo Fighters rock Letterman

If you dig doing something, do it again.

The Foo Fighters rocked MSG in New York Sunday night as part of their “Wasting Light” tour.

The Foos brought out some special guests for the encores, including Husker Du legend Bob Mould, with whom they did “Dear Rosemary” from the new album, and a cover of the Tom Petty classic, “Breakdown.”

Things kicked into major overdrive after the Mould double-shot, though, when the Foos brought out Joan Jett to perform “Bad Reputation” with them.

Something obviously clicked with Jett, because the Foos teamed up with her to do the song Wednesday night on the Late Show with David Letterman.

This marks the second time, recently, when the Foos have signed on to back someone up on TV; in September, the band played with Roger Waters on Jimmy Fallon’s show.
