VIDEO: Puscifer rocks Letterman

Puscifer made their television debut on Letterman Monday night, as the band performed the title track from their current release, “Conditions of My Parole.”

Puscifer is a side project of Tool/A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan.

The band took their name from a skit in the first episode of Mr. Show, where a fictional group of the same name featured Keenan and Adam Jones as members; Jones is not a part of the real band, as Keenan considers himself the only full-time member in the group he designed.

Keenan offered up some fun on Twitter before the show, writing, “Just did our soundcheck on the Letterman set. Met Paul Shaffer. The Spinal Tap circle is now complete. All hail the Tap.”

Shaffer joined in the performance, nailing a wicked keyboard solo.
