Bruce Springsteen: 2012 SXSW keynote speaker



The Boss is coming to Austin, Texas.

Bruce Springsteen has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at the 2012 South By Southwest Music and Media Conference and Festival.

Springsteen’s address will take place on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Austin Convention Center, the hub of SXSW Music events.

In the tradition of legendary artists delivering the main event at SXSW, Springsteen joins notable keynote alumni including Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Lucinda Williams, Robert Plant, Pete Townshend, Smokey Robinson and Neil Young.

The Bruce Springsteen keynote will be open to Music and Platinum registrants and registered showcasing artists.

The music festival showcases more than 2000 acts from over 55 countries on 90 stages throughout downtown Austin.
