VIDEO: Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler rock with Metallica

Metallica closed out their week-long 30th Anniversary celebrations at the Fillmore in San Francisco on Saturday with a bang.

The band were joined by guests that included former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, producer Bob Rock, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney and Hugh Tanner.

The big surprise came midway through the show when Metallica brought out Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler; Robert Trujillo introduced Geezer as “My hero, Cliff Burton’s hero, Jason Newsted’s hero,” before they ripped through a mini-medley of “Sabbra Cadabra” and “A National Acrobat.”

Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne appeared on stage next, joining the lineup for a double-shot of “Iron Man” and “Paranoid.”
