Bruce Springsteen to play Apollo Theater

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at Harlem's Apollo Theater for the first time, at a special concert event to celebrate 10 years of satellite radio.

The Friday, March 9 show happens three days after the release of Springsteen's new album, “Wrecking Ball,” on March 6.

The concert will air live nationwide on Bruce Springsteen's E Street Radio, channel 20 on SiriusXM on Friday, March 9 at 8:00 pm ET.

E Street Radio offers listeners unprecedented access to the music of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, including concert broadcasts, rare archival recordings, as well as insider reports and breaking news.

Subscribers will have the opportunity to win tickets to the event from E Street Radio and across SiriusXM's music, talk and sports on-air channels.

All contests to win tickets to the concert are limited to listeners who have been an active SiriusXM subscriber continuously since January 24, 2012.

Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced dates for the first US leg of the 2012 'Wrecking Ball' World Tour, which opens March 18 in Atlanta.

Springsteen recently released the album’s first single, "We Take Care Of Our Own."
