UPDATE: Steven Tyler to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

There’s been a date change for the upcoming Steven Tyler appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Originally set for this coming Monday, February 27, the Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge will now appear on Tuesday night’s/Wednesday morning’s (February 28) program.

Idol have now whittled their contestants down to 24, and have manufactured a twist for next week’s live shows – they’ll be adding at least 1 more to the group of 12 men and 12 women.

On Thursday night’s episode, the reality competition revealed that they’ll be adding 1 more of the men to the lineup, to make it a Top 13 – the singer will be revealed on next week’s show.

Now, it doesn’t make much sense to have a Top 13 men’s division and a Top 12 women’s group, so it’s quite likely the producers will create another cliffhanger and add another lady before the women’s division hit the stage.
