Metallica sell out 3 shows in Mexico City, add more dates

This past weekend, Metallica sold out three shows in Mexico City.

The band’s August 1, 2, and 4th concerts at the Sports Palace – 60,000 tickets – sold out in less than 90 minutes.

Now, Metallica have announced additional dates.

“We've expanded our Mexico City visit to include August 6 and 7, also at the Sports Palace, for a total of five nights of the massive new stage show that will include elements from our entire 30 years of touring... you need to see it to believe it!” posted the band.

Metallica previously spread word that their brand new show will feature a massive stage that is twice the size of the World Magnetic set up.

The Banamex pre-sale starts Wednesday, March 28 at 11:00 AM CST with the public on-sale Thursday, March 29, also at 11:00 AM CST.

Met Club members should log in for details about their special pre-sale that begins on March 27 at 11:00 AM CST and will end on March 28 at 11:00 AM CST.
